
CITY OF INDUSTRY- Los Altos High School soccer team has started with their preseason
matches the past week of Nov. 18 to the 21. Boys and Girls soccer teams had two home
games during this week. The boys played against California and Woodrow Wilson High
School. While the girls played against La Serna and California High School. With these
matches the teams’ preseason began.

The teams had a successful start to the season. All teams had a victory during these
matches. Both the boys’ and girls’ had an excellent season last year, reaching the first round of the California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section (CIF-SS), so they are preparing
to have the same performance this year.
“I feel really confident with my team because all the girls are prepared for this season,”
varsity student-athlete Adamaris Salcido said. “Therefore, I hope that
During these matches many students showed up with their families, as some teachers and
the principal, Mr. Jeffrey Hess, all of them to support the girls’ and boys’ teams and cheer
them on.

The sport’s student-athletes kick off the winter soccer season, so they all are excited to put
on a great performance this season. Hacienda La Puente invites our entire community to
support the teams in this 2024-25 season.
