Shift To Desired Reality And Live Out Fantasies
A new trend has come from TikTok. Reality shifting is what’s new to the internet and has many people wanting to try it.
Reality shifting is when you move your subconscious while you’re sleeping, “shifting” to a different reality consciously.
Sophomore Emily Ruiz said, “I was really interested in shifting because it seemed really cool to experience a different reality other than mine. I first heard about it actually on YouTube and not TikTok.”
A popular reality to shift to at the moment is Hogwarts from the Harry Potter franchise. With reality shifting, people get to experience their childhood dreams of being a witch/wizard and even flying on a broom.
“I have tried shifting to Hogwarts because being a witch there in my favorite movie or environment would seem super cool and fun,” said Ruiz.
There are a multitude and variety of ways to be able to shift, often called Methods of shifting. A lot of shifters say listening to subliminals, meditating, and saying positive affirmations will also help raise your vibrations, which in turn helps you shift to your desired reality.
“I have done only the Raven method and also listen to subliminals while saying positive affirmations,” said Ruiz.
The Raven method along with the pillow method, The Alice in Wonderland method and many others are very popular methods to use while shifting. You may also make a “script”, which is an outline for what you would like to happen in your desired reality.
Oftentimes, most methods start off with you laying in a starfish position and counting to 100 while saying positive affirmations in between. Furthermore, you would go into more depth of shifting by imagining where you’d like to be, who will be there, and what you see, and using your five senses will help you shift.
Since shifting has gained popularity and awareness on TikTok, lots of people have tried it and successfully shifted. A lot of the comments when they’re back from shifting say it was very vivid and felt absolutely real.
The most effective method of shifting for most people is the Raven Method. This method consists of laying down in a starfish position and counting to 100 while saying positive affirmations in between each number.
While doing that, you must stay still, and no body parts are to be touching. Meanwhile, you are to imagine yourself in your DR (desired reality), or anything that relates to where you are shifting too.
Many say that when they are starting to try to shift, they feel symptoms of wanting to move, twitching, or dizzy. Some also say to script that you can smell a strong scent such as coffee to know that you have shifted.
“I got super twitchy and started seeing faint white light across my eyelids. Very interesting, but of course since it was my first time trying I did not make it. I did keep trying and I made sure to script every time before shifting. I scripted that before I got to my dream reality I wanted to smell apples and cinnamon. Shifting you do need to take a break as it could actually affect you in your current reality. You could feel confused, dizzy, or not focused at all if you go at it too much with no rest day,” said Ruiz.

I tried the raven method for my first time trying to shift to warrior cats, although it sounds childish and unbelievable I was almost successful/would have been successful if I hadn’t of heard my brother flush the toilet in the middle of the night lol, I remember feeling a cold yet slightly warm feeling and almost an extra limb as I was waking up into the alternate reality and remember seeing an entrance of branches and leaves from a Bush, and a very fluffy white tail near my face and hearing some muffled snoring. I then heard someone say a warriors name “Cloudtail” and since then I’ve suspected it was another warrior trying to stop cloudtail from snoring, I also believe that the tail belonged to cloud tail as it was the first thing I saw as I opened my eyes in that reality

It is recommended to listen to subliminals but it is not required. If you do decide to use them though its best to use them from subliminal makers you can trust or you can make one yourself. You can find these subliminasl on Youtube, Spotify and Musi. You don’t have to write a script either but just like subliminals it is recommended. It can help you organize your thoughts and the specifics of your desired reality. If you want to write one you basically just put everything about you, what you want to happen, where you’re going to wake up in, etc. For the “password”just pick a phrase that you like or something silly you wouldn’t normally say. You just say whatever phrase or word you picked in your desired reality when you want to leave. I haven’t shifted myself but this is what I’ve gathered so far about it. make sure you have mental clarity. if there is something off putting your mood or distractions you must try and get rid of them as soon as possible if you want to shift. 🙂

Do I have to have a script? If I write down everything in a google doc and then put it under my pillow with it open on my phone, does that work too? For the pillow method? I’ve tried the Raven method and it didn’t work probably because I didn’t have music but I tried again last night with ambient music and just pictured my DR and I was super close. You won’t get stuck because you can just say your safe word and come back to your CR or if you don’t have a safe word then t’s okay too because your brain will know when you want to go back to your CR, i’m also still trying to shift but i also won’t give up, remember to rest for a couple of days and then try again. Dude, i tried this and like my adhd was acting up so I just kept twitching so then I tried 8d music but that didn’t work bc when I was counting I kept losing count and then at 100 I would open my eyes and I got upset when I wasn’t there bc unless I’m genuinely asleep , my eyes WILL NOT stay close. Gente eu ainda não consegui, mas eu cheguei MUITO perto pq misturei dois métodos, o da escada e o Raven. Que consiste em vc se imaginar subindo em uma escada e cada degrau é um número, vc conta até 100 alternando com afirmações ”eu sou… eu estou..” também é bom falar partes do script. Quando vc chegar no final da escada imagina uma pessoa da sua DR falando ”vc está pronta(o)” ou ”vamos para casa” coisas desse tipo. Se imagine atravessando uma porta com essa pessoa (sempre afirmando) e durma.. Se n tiver com sono ainda vai afirmando até dormir…
É muito importante vc imaginar os míseros detalhes use seus sentidos pra te ajudar nisso, imagine a cor, textura, temperatura, iluminação, vibração etc.
Beba bastante água, eu estou meditando todo dia por 15 minutos tbm ajuda, mas n tente shiftar todo dia, é ruim pra sua energia e não ligue para comentários do tipo ”vc n consegue” ou ”isso n existe”, eles só vão te atrapalhar, isso existe e é tão real quanto essa realidade..

You’re supposed to just let yourself fall asleep when you feel that way. Once your asleep you may wake up in your DR. You will shift at some point. We all shift at somepoint. Just keep working with it. Also make sure that you have a safe word to travel back into the CR.

Ok so I think I was very close because I was trying to shift to the icewing kingdom from the wings of fire series and I started to smell my scripted scent which was peppermint and began to feel you know dizzy and twitchy but I started to get chills. Is this a normal thing or could it be because I was trying to shift somewhere cold? I don’t know but all I know was I heard a roar like what a dragon would make and then the chills got unbearable so I woke up. This was my first time shifting but do these signs seem like enough for me to know that I was close? I am so exited.

I have shifted to someplace cold before and yes those are normal symptoms when trying to go into a cold reality I suggest to just put some blankets on you before starting to shift and when imagining your DR (desired reality)imagine having warm clothes on

I’ve heard about shifting from a friend and shes told me of her experiences and getting close so it gives me hope. I thought i’d do a little research of my own. I find it fascinating how all of this is supposed to work. I haven’t tried it yet but i’m glad I found this information making it simple and easy to understand. I am excited to try it out!

i have once tried to shift myself actually, and i was really close to doing it my legs were starting to feel numb then my upper waist and then my arms and after that i heard Draco say “you’re almost home.” which that is what made me wake up because i got really excited and almost nearly cried. but i’m going to try to attempt again tomorrow i tried again tonight but i started twitching and woke up, but thanks for the info!

I tried for the first time and it didint work but I am not going to give up!!! I felt like I was levitating and my feet and hands started to get numb, I imagined I was in the great hall siting next to Draco, I imagined me eating chicken, rice and salad, then I would look around, I would see harry and Ron siting next to each other talking about god knows what and in front of them was Hermione and Ginny talking about boys, a few seats from them was Fred and Gorge laughing. In the hufelpuff table I saw Cedric digory laughing with his friends, in the revenclaw table I saw Cho Chang and Luna talking. I looked at the end of the hallway to see all the professors, Dumbeldor, Mcgonagal, Snape, hagrid and the rest. I looked at mi self and saw I was wearing grey sweat pants and a grey top, I had a few rings on, also a few other jewelry. I did a few other things and at one point i swear I smelt chicken but I can’t fall asleep because after a while there is this urg to move your body. I will trie agien tomorrow and I will never give up on shifting!!!!

I’ve only just recently heard about reality shifting, but I’m so interested! I’ve read a few articles now, including this one, and I’m obsessed with the idea of wandering off to a reality of your liking. I’m going to try the raven method later/tonight.
Only remark though: what if you get more attached to the reality you’re shifting to than your own? Like, are there any dangerous aspects about shifting?

Most people use a script to visualise the world and the story they are going to beter, you kan also use a script to visualise your character and your relationship whit other characters, your clothes, your home, mamories you may have whit other characters and the events that are going to hapen to help you to shift.

This “movement” is very interesting, and I feel could potentially help in “waking and/or raising our collective consciousness!!
What I didn’t read in the article was the power and importance of setting a strong intention and visualizing (To visualize, imagine what it feels like, what are the various scents, the colors, the textures, even the temperature. Be as detailed and specific as possible and sit or lay in that silent visualized state for as long as necessary to imagine it being real) Then keep the image(s) you created in your silence and keep them in your thought as you drift off to sleep, intending for a safe, re-energized return to this dimension. It never hurts and ask your Higher Self to accompany you, keep you safe and protected.
I encourage anyone practicing these types of multi-dimensional experiences to practice them with a sense of respect and reverence for Universal Intelligence (or whatever you believe is greater than ourselves) We, alone, are not doing it. That’s what the ego wants us to believe, but there is a Universal Intelligence making all things possible.
We are all One, All Connected, to each other, to our beautiful Mother Gaia (Earth) to ALL things!! What if you used this “gift” as a way to raise the collective vibrational consciousness of the Planet?! We have far more power available to us. for good works, than we can imagine.

everytime i shift and really think im there I open my eyes and I’m just in my cr and i just haven’t made it yet, but I’ve tried twice and both times i was really close but neither tie have i smelt anything, this time i did hear something though. but i am not sure if I’m supposed to open my eyes because everytime i do I’m not there, and i don’t know what it means by open your eyes if its not talking about my cr body.

wow this was really helpful. i have tried shifting before and got really close. all the things i heard here confirmed that i was close.
