Shift To Desired Reality And Live Out Fantasies

A new trend has come from TikTok. Reality shifting is what’s new to the internet and has many people wanting to try it.

Reality shifting is when you move your subconscious while you’re sleeping, “shifting” to a different reality consciously.

Sophomore Emily Ruiz said, “I was really interested in shifting because it seemed really cool to experience a different reality other than mine. I first heard about it actually on YouTube and not TikTok.”

A popular reality to shift to at the moment is Hogwarts from the Harry Potter franchise. With reality shifting, people get to experience their childhood dreams of being a witch/wizard and even flying on a broom.

“I have tried shifting to Hogwarts because being a witch there in my favorite movie or environment would seem super cool and fun,” said Ruiz.

There are a multitude and variety of ways to be able to shift, often called Methods of shifting. A lot of shifters say listening to subliminals, meditating, and saying positive affirmations will also help raise your vibrations, which in turn helps you shift to your desired reality.

“I have done only the Raven method and also listen to subliminals while saying positive affirmations,” said Ruiz.

The Raven method along with the pillow method, The Alice in Wonderland method and many others are very popular methods to use while shifting. You may also make a “script”, which is an outline for what you would like to happen in your desired reality.

Oftentimes, most methods start off with you laying in a starfish position and counting to 100 while saying positive affirmations in between. Furthermore, you would go into more depth of shifting by imagining where you’d like to be, who will be there, and what you see, and using your five senses will help you shift.

Since shifting has gained popularity and awareness on TikTok, lots of people have tried it and successfully shifted. A lot of the comments when they’re back from shifting say it was very vivid and felt absolutely real.

The most effective method of shifting for most people is the Raven Method. This method consists of laying down in a starfish position and counting to 100 while saying positive affirmations in between each number.

While doing that, you must stay still, and no body parts are to be touching. Meanwhile, you are to imagine yourself in your DR (desired reality), or anything that relates to where you are shifting too.

Many say that when they are starting to try to shift, they feel symptoms of wanting to move, twitching, or dizzy. Some also say to script that you can smell a strong scent such as coffee to know that you have shifted.

“I got super twitchy and started seeing faint white light across my eyelids. Very interesting, but of course since it was my first time trying I did not make it. I did keep trying and I made sure to script every time before shifting. I scripted that before I got to my dream reality I wanted to smell apples and cinnamon. Shifting you do need to take a break as it could actually affect you in your current reality. You could feel confused, dizzy, or not focused at all if you go at it too much with no rest day,” said Ruiz.
